I completed my M.Sc. studies in the Douglas group at UBC. My thesis involved measurements of cross-sections of DNA and protein ions and their comparison. A few months after my graduation I joined the group one more time as a PhD student in May 2003. Currently I'm working on axial ejection of ions from quadrupoles with added octopole fields and performing mass analysis experiments on linear ion traps with added octopole fields using islands of stability.
