St. John's College, UBC, Vancouver
July 21st 2017
VIVA is an annual one-day NMR symposium that aims to bring together NMR users, researchers and facility managers from western Canada and the US Pacific northwest to share information on topics of general NMR interest and to foster the development of a regional NMR community.
VIVA is an informal gathering in a small welcoming setting. We particularly encourage undergraduate and graduate students to attend and present any types of NMR-related research. It can be based on NMR theoretical work, method development, or, simply, applications in your current research projects.
The program will consist of talks in the morning, followed by lunch at St. John's College dining hall, and poster presentations in the afternoon. Dinner discussions among regional NMR Facility managers are also scheduled after the poster session.
There will be awards for both the best oral and the best poster student presentations.
I look forward to seeing you in Vancouver!
